The Construction Financial Management Association
(CFMA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the financial
professional in the construction industry. The association is designed to
provide a forum for communication among construction financial managers
and a source of education programs directed to their specific needs. The
CFMA, which was established in the New Jersey area, has since expanded
throughout the country and now has a membership of over 6,500.
Since its inception, the
association has sponsored high quality educational programs and seminars.
The national group, together with the local chapters, will continue to
sponsor high quality programs, and as the association develops, it will
work toward providing its membership with additional benefits.
General membership in the
association is open to all types of construction contractors and
suppliers. In addition, through associate membership, participation is
open to other interested parties including lawyers, public accountants,
bankers and insurance carriers and agents.
The Piedmont Chapter, formed in
the fall of 1984, is dedicated to bringing quality educational seminars to
the local level and providing a local forum for the exchange of ideas.
